Cirkus Bizurkus was born from a simple belief:
The world needs more wonder! ✧*̥˚
For more than 15 years, Founder and Creative Director Fernando Barraza dreamed of creating a company that could blend creativity, performance, storytelling and human connection into unforgettable experiences.
That vision became a reality in 2020.
While the world paused, Fernando revisited an idea he had first imagined years earlier - a colourful, playful and slightly unexpected entertainment brand called Cirkus Bizurkus. What began as a creative concept quickly evolved into something much bigger: a company dedicated to helping people connect, celebrate and experience moments of genuine joy.
With support from a City of Sydney grant and a successful debut production during Mardi Gras 2021, Cirkus Bizurkus launched at a time when audiences and communities were ready to come together again.
Since then, we've partnered with leading brands, venues, councils and organisations to create memorable experiences for audiences of all ages. From corporate events and gala dinners to festivals, family activations, sporting events and public celebrations, our team brings imagination, energy and expertise to every project.
Today, Cirkus Bizurkus is far more than an entertainment company. We are experience creators, entertainment curators and problem solvers.
Whether we're designing a spectacular stage moment, delivering a family-friendly play experience, activating a public space or helping teams connect through Cirkus Skool, our mission remains the same:
